  • Class Stalls Report
    • There was a great turnout for the Class Stalls meeting and everyone is very enthusiastic
    • Every Class now has a Convenor, which is a great start and will ensure that we have everyone pulling in the same direction
    • Karen will create on-line accounts for all Users so that they are wired into the North Perth P&C DNA
    • Rhoda will be canvassing each Convenor on formulations for seed funding as well space and other amenities required on the day
    • Rhoda to assist in finalising the themes for each Class Stall, ensuring they comply with the School's Operating Principal's.

  • Sponsorship and PR
    • Shannon has joined the PR team and it's full steam ahead

  • Food and Beverage Report (over the phone from Sally)
    • Planning on having Sausage Sizzle - Bacon and Egg Rolls (morning), Lamb Koftas, Pit Bread and Salad (a bit more sophisticated for later on)
    • No hot potatoes nor curries due to dramas with health regulations
    • Devonshire teas - scones, jam and tea (including Quiches) - Suggestion has been made to hold Hight Tea in the Kindy room as it has all the most appropriate amenities.
    • Lemonade Stall - Grade 1
    • Rowena is investigating commercial ice cream van on site
    • Investigating fairy floss $150 for the day, will need 2 - can book on-line -  $300 will be required
    • Kindy has a lolly stall - liaise with them
    • Coffee - still investigating, possibly using a bank of Parents coffee machines
    • Investigating options to include fresh healthy food, as well - Fresh Finesse or perhaps Healthways could be involved to bring some crunch to bear

  • Building and Amenities

    • Karen is going to be chasing up a few can-do men and try and convince them to throw their weight behind the Fete, so hopefully by the next meeting, we will have a Convenor and a solid team behind him so that we can go ahead and get those "NPPS Fete Building and Amenities Team" t-shirts printed.

  • Theme
    • Cathy Greene has agreed to take on the role of Sustainability Coordinator and will be liaising with the School Environmental Committee as well as any other internal and external groups to ensure that as far as is practicable, the Stalls, Activities, Entertainment and Comestibles align with the theme. Wellcome aboard Cath.

  • Suggestions
    • It was suggested that the following couples could provide a well-needed boost to the Entertainment Group (and perhaps draw out a closet Convenor). So, in order to test the effectiveness of the website's communicative abilities, I am going to name them and see if they seek me out to confirm:
      • Dan and Alinta
      • Christine and Tim
      • Sharon and Gr*
    • While it would be unusual, as were Fred and Ginger, Doris and Rock, etc. perhaps the Entertainment Convenor could be a couple! What pride their children would be entitled to take...

  • Next Meeting
    • How does Wednesday the 28th of April sound? Around 2.00 pm.

Meeting closed around 2.30.
