Updates from each Group

In order to improve the way in which we collate status updates, from now on, we are going to use a Status Reporting Form. This simple form will help you to let all of us know what's going on with your progress, what other resources you will need as time goes on, do you need any help, etc.

These results will be collated and presented, hopefully, prior to any Organising Committee meeting, so that we can move through the smooth sailing areas, and focus on those with issues.

    • Tom asks to help out on, or assume control of, the Sausage Sizzle - Go Tom! So where does this leave us now, Sal and Ro!
    • Tracy offers husbands cars for Sustainable Motoring Expo on lawn - how're we going to manage that!?
    • What do our Stall Convenors need in the way of funding assistance or logistics? Tell us what your people need, Rhod's and Kazza!
    • How are rides looking, what about the season's pass. I can't wait to get the good oil, Nic!
    • I hear the Entertainment Group are bubling away with some bodacious plans. How about an update, Someone?!
    • There's money out there burning holes in pockets. Have you managed to get some for us, Steph!?

Priorities for next few weeks

  • Seeding budget requirements need to be known (how much money do you need up front to get your stall organised?)
  • Convenors need to provide logistical requirements so that they are included in planning (power, space, tents, oats, etc.)
  • Logistics team needs to have tasks defined and then send out the call via newsletters
  • Colin to provide bagman services on the day and provide a framework for handling the money
  • Define timetable for lead up, including Busy Bee's to get school in order
