2010-03-04 - School Stalls Committee Meeting Minutes
Present: Karen Delore, Fran Spencer, Dorthe Jorgensen, Rhoda Mason
- Noted that Andrea King was on the list of School Stalls Committee from the initial meeting of the Fete Committee last year. Karen apologised for leaving Andrea off the list and Rhoda will speak with Andrea this afternoon.
- Discussion that each class will be responsible for one stall and that each stall should have an associated activity/game/raffle. The aim is for each class to raise between $1,200 - $2,000 for each stall. This aim hopefully will assist with the setting of prices for items.
- Discussion re possible stalls and initial stall allocations made based on previous discussions with parents. Karen, Dorthe and Rhoda will speak with people asterixed (*). See Table 1 below.

- Rhoda to let Sally and Rowena know of our plans for certain classes to host food and beverages stall/s.
- Karen to locate Banners before next meeting with Co-ordinators.
- Dorthe to be in charge of communication – drafting Updates for posting outside classes, liaison with Ali (who will doing the Fete Update), Paola with the school newsletters.
- Rhoda to email other members of committee with minutes of today’s meeting and the table.
- Karen, Rhoda and Dorthe to follow-up possible class co-ordinators and discuss themes with them (see Table 1).
- Karen to update Table 1 before the next Fete meeting next week and provide a copy for the website.
- Aim to have Class Stalls + Co-ordinators confirmed by end of Term 1.
- To hold a meeting with as many of the Class Co-ordinators as possible on Thursday 25 March 2010 at 2pm. Rhoda to liaise with Paola re Venue for future meetings and to check with Alex to see if this has already been discussed.
- Karen will locate the pro-forma documents and send copies to the committee members before 25 March.
- Karen to prepare a Kit of pro-forma documents for the Class Co-ordinators. The Kit will be distributed by email after the meeting on 25/3/10. Need to obtain email addresses.
- Each committee member to be responsible for certain classes (see Table) and to keep in touch with those Class Co-ordinators.
Next meeting Thursday 25 March 2010 at 2pm. Venue to be confirmed.
