The kids will make their own paper from recycled paper in class during term 3. From the handmade paper we will make a variety of things to sell in our stall:
- Letter writing sets with paper and envelops
- Christmas decorations
- Gift cards
- Bookmarks
- Mobiles
- Window hangings
- Small bags of paper shapes for card making
- Paper butterflies on pegs

We will also be makeing things from other recycled paper
- Origami
- Origami mobiles
- Tissue paper flowers
- One the day of the Fete we will be running paper making workshops where the children can show oter children and parents how to make their own handmade paper
- We will also try to run a raffle where the first prize could be a hamper full of handmade paper goodies, a "Handmade Peper Kit" or something else......

This section is focussed on getting you from here to the day before the Fete.

- Term 2 will mainly be about gathering things that will be needed for the paper making in term 3.
Things we are collecting and storing during term 2:
- Colorful paper (tissue paper, creep paper any non glossy paper)
- Ribbons
- Blenders (If anyone has an old blender they are no longer using we can use them for paper pulp making)
- Things that can be laid in the paper (Dried flowers, glitter, small paper shapes……)
- Old sheets
If you have any of these things that you would like to donate please bring them to school and we will find a place to store it.
