Stall Concept:

 Stall Name:

•  The kids will make their own paper from recycled paper in class during term 3. From the handmade paper we will make a variety of things to sell in our stall:
  • Letter writing sets with paper and envelops
  • Christmas decorations
  • Gift cards
  • Bookmarks
  • Mobiles
  • Window hangings
  • Small bags of paper shapes for card making
  • Paper butterflies on pegs
• We will also be makeing things from other recycled paper
  • Origami
  • Origami mobiles
  • Tissue paper flowers
• One the day of the Fete we will be running paper making workshops where the children can show oter children and parents how to make their own handmade paper
• We will also try to run a raffle where the first prize could be a hamper full of handmade paper goodies, a "Handmade Peper Kit" or something else......

Preparation

This section is focussed on getting you from here to the day before the Fete.

• Term 2 will mainly be about gathering things that will be needed for the paper making in term 3.

Things we are collecting and storing during term 2:

• Colorful paper (tissue paper, creep paper any non glossy paper)
• Ribbons
• Blenders (If anyone has an old blender they are no longer using we can use them for paper pulp making)
• Things that can be laid in the paper (Dried flowers, glitter, small paper shapes……)
• Old sheets

If you have any of these things that you would like to donate please bring them to school and we will find a place to store it.
